Seven Daughters Wines

It’s no secret that down-time as a mother, especially a mother of toddlers, is both hard to come by and extremely precious. Can I get an amen? Sometimes you just need a few moments to yourself, to unwind and relax, sans babies, and sans hubby. Because those moments happen so less than often that they used to, I have a solution for that momma-on-the-go and it just happens to be vino-on-the-go. Genius, right? Seven Daughters wine-in-a-can are easy to hold (while also juggling a juice box and a pacifier) and are a portable little slice of heaven. Going to the park with the kiddos and planning a little picnic like I did above? Toss a few of these in a soft cooler and you are all set for a day of fun and frivolity.

My favorite just happens to be Moscato for its light fruitful notes of peach and its sweet touches of floral and honey, the perfect combination of delicious flavors. It goes down so smoothly and is just the right amount. These are also a great addition for a girls’ night. All you have to do is pick up some fancy cheese at the store, mmm like a buffalo cheddar or a sharp gruyere, scoop up some crackers and some fruit, and then assemble. I have done this so many times and it is always a hit with the gals. Wine and cheese, yes please!

An alternative to the girls’ night is also a date night in with your someone special. After the girls have gone to bed, Kevin and I like to pop the top on a Seven Daughters red (they come in bottles too) and then indulge in a little chocolate dessert or cheesecake. A seriously enjoyable night and great way to unwind.

I can’t wait till this winter comes to an end because I have big plans to turn this flavorful wine into some scrumptious Sangria!

Yay!
