I met Blair Farris, the founder of Peachy the Magazine, when she kindly put together a welcome to Charlotte lunch for me when I first moved down here. This week I had the opportunity to contribute to Peachy’s Fashion Section and profile one of my favorite pieces – Printed Pants. Peachy the Magazine has alot to offer but my favorite feature is EAT.STAY.SHOP.PLAY which provides chic and untouristy activities for each of the cities they profile. Their motto “nurturing an abundant lifestyle” is something that I connected with after moving down here and transitioning from the fast paced lifestyle that I loved so much in NYC. I had to embrace the change in environment and find ways to make it work for me and I have to admit that they have a great prospective on life. Blair further explains their philosophy of nurturing an abundant lifestyle by saying that it involves stepping out of the rat race to cultivate something you love, to be creative and to take a leap of faith. I highly suggest you take a cue from Peachy the Magazine and try it. I know have 🙂 I was lucky enough to be selected as their first style contributor for the magazine so I selected my favorite trend, printed pants, and made sure I put my favorite Charlotte spin on it – bright splashes of color.
