From a Tiny Tot to a Toddler – A Nursery Transformation
Dress Your Guests has entered the One Room Challenge!
We have conquered all elements of decorating on our blog so why not tackle the last element and decorate a room?! Isabella is almost 1 1/2 and her very girly nursery was feeling very juvenile even for a one year old. So we decided to strip it of all of its elements and start transforming this blank space into a colorful and exciting environment for a toddler. We are still in our apartment and looking for a home so we won’t be altering this space or painting just making some minor adjustments that will all come together, hopefully :). This will also make it user friendly and easy for anyone to re-create whether you have a design background like Kendra or just love design like me. Check back in every Wednesday for the next 6 weeks to see our progress. So excited for this project as this one lies close to the heart of Team DYG!
What is the One Room Challenge?
The One Room Challenge™, currently in its eighth season, is a biannual event every April and October. Each round, twenty designers are invited to take the challenge and transform a space. Every Wednesday, the designers document their process while sharing their sources and professional advice over the six weekly posts.
In addition to following along, everyone with a blog, is welcome to join in on the fun by linking their own room transformations up during the six weeks. Each Thursday, the internet and social media are flooded with interior design inspiration, ideas, and encouragement.
To date, more than 350 rooms have been transformed through the One Room Challenge™. The event, and many of the spaces, have been recognized and featured.
