Me, Little You, Styled by JCrew: Part 1

Me, Little You, Styled by JCrew

I love fashion and more specifically assembling outfits, but when I found out that I am expecting (yay!) I realized that I hadn’t the slightest clue as to how to assemble a maternity outfit.  I am super excited to welcome a new addition to my family, however, I have to admit that I am a little hesitant on dressing a “baby bump”.  Lucky for me, I work with an incredible personal stylist from JCrew.  April and I have teamed up to create “Me, Little You, Styled by JCrew”!  Each month we will be posting a few looks curated by April from JCrew to help inspire women to be chic while dressing for two!  April Nicholls is a very personal stylist located in NYC.  She can be reached at

“Sunday Stroll”

April and I have put together three looks for the fourth month of my pregnancy.  Keep in mind that JCrew doesn’t make maternity, so these outfits can be worn before, during and after the baby bump phase of your life.   We used styles that either had stretch or have a more relaxed shape to allow room for my growing belly. My first look “Sunday Stroll” is perfect for a weekend event or a casual dinner on a hot summer night.

My second look “Workday Wednesday” is perfect for running to meetings or is chic for the office. I love the way April taught me to coordinate my accessories to tie the whole look together. I will be wearing these shoes throughout my pregnancy, loving the leopard and the chunky heel!
“Casual Friday”

My third look “Casual Friday” is chic for dressed down summer Fridays.  I was hesitant to mix patterns but April taught me that the coordinating color palette ties it all together.  All three pieces are perfect staples in your closet.  Crisp white jeans and strappy heels look great with the Glitter Stripe Sweater for a more polished look.  How cute are these Lulu Frost for JCrew earrings?!!
