You know those mornings when you are dragging big time and coffee just isn’t cutting it? Reach for a top in a bold color to brighten your look and your mood. If you are like me and really love color then try a dress in the citrus family. This pretty tangerine shift is chic and versatile or for a fun sunny style try this yellow mini from Alice + Olivia.
The Citrus palette is trending in a big way for spring. Embrace it and instantly elevate your mood.
Anything that comes in bright sunny yellow I WANT right now. This top with pom-poms on it is on my wish list and will hopefully be my next purchase. If the price point or even color is too bold for you then try this style that is under a $100 and less saturated. While lemon is dominating my online shopping cart I couldn’t resist this bright orange top when I spotted it. The price point, fabric and color are all in line with everything I love. The line Catherine Catherine Malandrino is on point right now with it’s effortlessly chic designs, versatile styles, and colorful palette of items made from drapey jersey fabrics. Her new price point strategy is also something I can fully support, this top is only $88. It is almost sold out but I love this off the shoulder style from her line in the same fabric. This top from Rebecca Minkoff is equally as fun in a poppy orange hue.
If you are ready to move past dark denim and embrace white denim I completely understand. White denim has made its arrival early this season and the good news is it pairs perfectly with a statement citrus style. I actually just picked up this white pair today! The fit is perfect, the fabric is substantial and the price is half of what I usually spend. While I typically gravitate towards designer denim I actually really like this pair I bought from J.Crew and at $115 it was hard to say no. Here is just one example of how I plan on incorporating my new white denim and the citrus trend into my life over the next few weeks!
