Fall Favorite: Black + Camel Color Combo

Someone spread this crazy idea that black and brown don’t go together.  I actually feel that when paired together they make an extremely chic color combo.  I was never a huge fan of pattern mixing and have instead preferred pairing unexpected bold colors that compliment each other well.  This color combo is one of my favorites, because it looks classic and elevated and can easily be achieved.  It feels very luxe even though my tunic sweater is only $39 and my leggings are $78.  A tortoise shell accessory like these sunglasses from Krewe are the perfect item to tie the whole look together.  The boots however are an investment piece for sure but I’m glad I bought them because I wear them almost every other day.  I found a less expensive pair here that feel equally as chic but if you are going to buy any investment piece this season I would recommend the Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots.  They go with almost anything and they are comfortable.  I actually walked 4 miles in them in NYC trying to catch my sister at various points in the NYC Marathon.

On a separate note it is still in the 70s down here!  So if you need that extra layer I would recommend adding on a sweater coat like this Vince Reversible Style that matches the length of your tunic sweater.  Remember if you are wearing leggings make sure your sweater is long enough in the back to cover your butt!
