Evening Attire…

Summer Wedding Attire Recap

I attended many weddings this past season and wanted to share some of my outfits with you.  I also experimented with how to dress my baby bump for evening events.  Here are five helpful tips I learned to look chic while dressing for two.

1. Elastic waistbands are your friend and so are empire waistlines.

2. Show off your collarbone, shoulders or legs – chances are these areas will remain slim throughout your pregnancy.

3. Don’t hide in fabric.  Items that are too large will do just that – make you look large.  If you don’t feel comfortable putting your bump on full display allow fabric to graze over the tummy.  Otherwise embrace it!

4. Statement earrings and necklaces draw attention up towards your glowing face.  Go big and go bold.  Invest in a great item that you can also throw on when you are not feeling your best and you need some extra sparkle in your day.

5. Smile!  Other than your baby bump it will be your best accessory by far.  🙂
