Hey guys!

Cristin from The Southern Style Guide here again! Hopefully you read up on my fall style post and now I wanted to talk a little about the rest of the look… aka my beauty routine. I’m definitely not a professional but I for sure have spent way too many hours on youtube or going down the rabbit hole on instagram researching new beauty products. I love trying new luxury products and drugstore dupes alike and am always asked by my readers what my favorite products are so I thought that I would share them with you too! So without further adieu here is my current beauty routine and the products I’m loving!

I am obsessed with the Tula brand of skincare. Right now all of my readers can save 20% off with code SOUTHSTYLEGUIDE20 and it is definitely worth a purchase even if you just get the discovery kit. I have tried so many regimens in my days and this is the first one that makes me skin look and feel great. Natural skincare for the win! First up I wash my face with the purifying cleanser. After that I use Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting BHA Liquid and then

My nightly routine is the Tula cleanser, Simple’s Hydrating Cleansing Oil to remove any eye makeup followed by Simple’s Soothing Facial Toner. Then I use Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting BHA Liquid followed by Tula’s Hydrating Day & Night Cream. I also use my clarisonic every night, Tula’s Exfoliating Treatment Mask every couple of days and my PMD once a week.

Before I put on my makeup I use Neova DNA Damage Control SPF. This is basically a miracle product that my esthetician told me about. It is an SPF 40 with zinc but it’s tinted so it doesn’t make you look like a ghost. Plus it works to repair skin tissue damage caused by the sun. After SPF I use Smashbox’s Pore Minimizing Primer and then Make Up Forever HD’s Foundation and I always apply with a Beauty Blender.

I love Bobbi Brown’s Skin Serum Corrector or Maybelline’s Master Conceal as a concealer and then for contouring I use Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Contour Kit for Contouring. I’ve yet to find a better blush than Orgasm by Nars and I love to add some strobing techniques with NYX’s Liquid Illuminator.

I start by putting Mac’s Paint Pot in Painterly all over my lid and then use various combinations of Maybelline’s Eye Shadow Palette “The Nudes” depending on the look I’m going for. To finish things off I put on Maybelline’s Master Precise Eyeliner on my upper lid and blend down onto my lower. Then for my eyebrows I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Taupe and I always wear Loreal’s Superstar Voluminous Mascara. Don’t even bother trying to find a better mascara because this one is the best out there.

I love Bare Minerals Gen Nude Radiant Lipstick in Heaven followed by the Bare Minerals Gen Nude Lipgloss in Snarky. I also really love NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee. It’s only $4.99 and I never leave home without it!

      amazing in support of me.

    2. Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was
extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it
up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any tips for rookie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.

I like to get my inspiration from really meaningful phrases said by truly great people like “One cannot conceive anything so strange and so implausible that it has not already been said by one philosopher or another”, do you know where I can find thematic compiltaions of those?
