We had the pleasure of attending the event and were given the difficult task of finding the best dressed guest. There were so many fashionable women and men, but Alice stood out in her stylish ensemble and won a $500 gift certificate to Bloomingdales for being so chic.

I love so many, just to name a few, Marchesa, Alexander McQueen, Duro Olowu, Rachel Roy.

What inspired your outfit choice?

The weather, it was a cloudy day and a mini tornado ran through the city. I was inspired to wear something bright and glossy to offset the scene. I love prints and sequins and it turned out to be a perfect juxtaposition to the dark weather.

Could you please tell us who you were wearing?

Alice & Olivia Dress worn as a shirt, Topshop skirt, Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, Vintage belt and clutch.

Who is/are your style icon(s)?

Jackie Kennedy Onassis for her glamour and gracefulness, Iman for her simplicity and sexiness and Kate Moss for her freshness and innovation.

How would you describe your style?

I’m a “girly girl”. I love feminine silhouette and mixing usual prints. I’m from Cameroon Africa but grew up in the states, so my style choices are influenced by both continents.

How do you transform your look from work to post work cocktails?

It’s all about the shoes and accessories. I usually have a pair of statement heels in my trunk and some kind of statement necklace.

Any advice on how to pull together a “chic” look in less than 10 minutes?

The key is not keeping anything in your closet that doesn’t make you feel good or look good. So if you have time constraints, anything you put on will look great. Another key is to put on a bold red lipstick and pull your tresses back in a sleek bun or ponytail.
